The park provides free WiFi, allows pets , and has a dump station. I booked this trip because I wanted a private campsite away from any other campers. We were kept up all night by traffic cause the site is right by a busy road. The site wasn’t directly by the river, it was about 200 meters away from the parking and bath house on the other side of a road. There is a small area right by the river however we didn’t set up a tent there cause we didn’t want to have to carry all of our stuff back and forth. Honestly, my only complaint is that I paid a lot of money for a campsite that should’ve been about half the price.

Chris’ site was a great location for exploring Harper’s Ferry, kayaking the river, and hiking the AT. The site was flat, private, and had a beautiful view of the river.
